Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max Program XM Smart Key Pro does not Work Solution

Q:

Working on a Toyota Tacoma 2016 smart key board 2110 using VVDI Key Tool Max, Only one option makes the remote work but none has the proximity/smart feature working, Toyota Rav4 2018 the same issue.

Here Xhorsevvdi engineers answer:

Sometimes a smart key generated successfully may not fully function the vehicle: remote doesn’t work, doesn’t have smart feature or even one button fails etc., which needs us to modify smart key’s values manually.

Possible reason:

Xhorse XM smart keys are universal keys, not particular for one model like Toyota Tacoma 2016, so we need to customize XM smart key to find correct values for each car.

Solution:

XM smart key customization by VVDI Key Tool Plus or Key Tool Max.

1)Modify Frequency

Sometimes the frequency options given to us is slightly different from that of the smart key to be programmed.

So read out the frequency “A” that your vehicle wants by Xhorse devices, then read original XM smart key frequency “B” and set “B” to “A”.

2)Modify Baud

Read key’s Baud, increase it by 400, and test if it works perfectly.

If not, add Baud again by 400 until it works well. (The last two numbers may vary automatically, which is normal.)

Step 2.Select “Generate Transponder”

Step 3.Select t “Search by car model”>>“Suzuki”>>”Maruti ID65 2007 Omni van″

Step 4. Select”Generate”

Transponder generation succeeds.

Xhorse VVDI Max with Dolphin XP005 to cut a Mahindra Bolero Key

Confirmed! The Xhorse VVDI KEY TOOL MAX can be used to connect with dolphin xp005 key cutting machine to program Mahindra Bolero all keys lost

Firstly, please bind VVDI Key Tool Max with Xhorse Dolphin XP005 via Bluetooth.

In Key tool max menu, switch to Condor Dolphin XP-005 page, then connect with Dolphin XP005 via Bluetooth.

Part 1. Operate VVDI Key Tool Max:

Tap “Key Lost” ->> Mahindra ->> Enter code “5670”

Please follow “Clamp type” to align M1 clamp tip to 2 position, this type recommend use 1.5mm to cut.

Select “Cutting key” and continue to make sure the cutting depth.

Part 2. Start cutting key using Xhorse Dolphin XP005 automatically.

Here is the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max review, test reports and even with step by step procedure with Mini OBD tool.

VVDI Key Tool Max has excellent functions generating remotes but at the time of renewing memory of some remotes to reuse them it does not flash them .. although to clone genar chip, and the rest is perfect.

Key Tool Max works great bought this just to clone VW and Audi keys and it does the job better than expected. Would recommend this product 100%.

Able to unlock used smart key for Toyota like the 2010 Prius this is the tool to get you need to keep trying until the light at the smart key flashed I was able to read frequency for Honda keys and from the remote on a 2007 Cadillac Escalade good quality will recommend.

4.Love this VVDI Key Tool Max. Super handy and has lots of features. Worth the money for sure i recommend obd2 mini with this

VVDI Key Tool Max has allowed me to start a side business providing keys and programming them for people looking to save some money. It’s worked pretty well for the most part, but it’s definitely no replacement for a professional key programmer like the Autels and Xtools. The cloning feature is pretty sweet so you can copy transponders from immobilizer keys. Definitely had some failures on some cars where this tool just doesn’t communicate with the vehicle.

GM Support looks great and full – but missing holes and doesn’t look to go back very far.
Chrysler – Asia models only but also mixed results under Dodge, Jeep, etc
Ford – Asia models only but mixed results under Lincoln, Mercury, etc
It just seems inconsistent and still in development.

but I’ll keep it and hope for updates to make it better.
